UPSC recruitment 2026: Eighty vacancies for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner in Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labour and Employment. Of the eighty vacancies, three vacancies are reserved for candidates belonging to category of persons with benchmark disability (PwBD).
Age for UPSC recruitment 2026
35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST.
The age is further relaxed upto 10 years for PwBD (subject to the maximum age limit of 56 years).
Educational Qualification
Degree of a recognised University or Equivalent. Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration. The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing.
In the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Post Details
The post is permanent. Central Board Group- “A”, Non-Ministerial (Equivalent to Group-‘A’ of Central Govt. at corresponding pay level).
One (01) Year shall be the probation period. The headquarters shall be New Delhi. The post carries All India Service liability and officers have to serve in any part of India.

The Online Application Portal of Union Public Service Commission for registration and filling up of application form online has four cards/modules, three of which namely, Account creation, Universal Registration and Common Application Form are common to all recruitment applications.
