The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated with great pomp across the country, especially in Mathura. Special trains to Mathura for Janmashtami have been started by the North Central Railway. It is believed that in Mathura Janmashtami is a ‘must experience once I a lifetime’ event.
According to reliable reports, the North Central Railway has made massive arrangements for the devotees to travel to Mathura. The beauty of the festival of the birth of Shri Krishna is unique to Mathura as the city lights up. There is festivity in each nook and corner.
Every year, large number of devotees arrive in Mathura to have a darshan of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. The Railway has made necessary preparations to help the devotees reaching Mathura. Reports further said that, a 24×7 war room at the main station has been created keeping in mind the rush that is expected.
The station has been put under surveillance and is being monitored through CCTV cameras. A team of doctors is on full alert round the clock. Special trains to Mathura have been notified. It includes railway services from Hazrat Nizamuddin Station in Delhi to Mathura station in Uttar Pradesh.
