The twist in the plot is that the entire act was done by a 24-year-old married youth. He supposedly had a girlfriend who was forcibly kept away from him by her family members. This infuriated the man and he climbed atop the mobile tower for his ‘love interest’. He threatened to end his life by jumping down to death.

The locals suddenly noticed the man atop the tower and immediately rushed to inform the police and the fire department. But, there was no avail. The man was adamant and wanted his ‘love interest’ to be his. Police efforts to persuade him to climb down seemed to fall in deaf ears. The man remained like that on the tower for as long as nine hours.

Later, after a lot of persuasion he agreed to climb down. The fire department personnel present at the scene of the drama helped him. The locals were much relieved after he reached firm grounds and the ordeal ended. More details on the incident is awaited.
