Rainfall in Odisha for 24 hours due to low pressure in Bay of Bengal predicts the Regional MeT Department on Tuesday. Rain is expected to continue across the state under the influence of low pressure.
Alert issued for rainfall in Odisha for 24 hours. Orange alert has been issued for six districts today. The districts are Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Boudh and Sonepur. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in some places of these districts.
The IMD on the other hand has put Odisha under yellow alert. Yellow alert has been issued for almost half of Odisha for tomorrow. Heavy rain is expected till August 27. The Meteorological Department has estimated that another low pressure may arrive by the end of the month.
