In a major success to the Excise department as much as 195 kgs ganja seized in Berhampur of Odisha on Tuesday. Reports said that the raid took place near first gate in Berhampur of Ganjam district in Odisha.
According to reports, the Department got a tip off and intercepted two cars. As much as 195 kgs ganja seized in Berhampur and three people have been detained.
Reports added that, the ganja was being smuggled from Kandhamal district to Bhubaneswar. A detailed probe has been initiated into the matter. Detailed reports awaited.
It is worth mentioning here that recently, Ganja was seized in Ganjam district of Odisha. It was being transported in an expensive car said reliable reports. The Excise Department had a major success as the amount of ganja seized in Ganjam was huge.
According to reports, an expensive car full of marijuana was seized from the post office near the Sorda Excise Police Station in Ganjam. One accused likely to be a peddler had been arrested.
