More than 200 people sick in Kakatpur of Puri district in Odisha after eating dahibara. The incident took place in Bangurigaon area of Kakatpur block. More than 200 villagers from five villages fell ill after eating dahibara.
A few hours after eating the stale dahibara, their condition started to deteriorate. They suffered from vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. A crowd of patients was seen at the Bangurigaon Community Health Center for treatment. So far, more than 200 patients have been treated.
In the Bangurigaon panchayat area under Kakatpur block, a dahibara hawker was going from village to village selling dahibara. People from about five villages in the areas had eaten the dahibara.
Reports say, a few hours after eating this dahibara people started feeling unwell. People were seen vomiting, suffering from diarrhea, and developing a fever. A crowd of patients was seen at the Bangurigaon Community Health Center for treatment. So far, more than 200 patients people sick in Kakatpur have been treated till the filing of the reports.
