There was an earthquake in Indonesia, said reliable reports. The quake hit Indonesia’s Flores region at a depth of 10 km at 5:58 am Saturday Indonesia time.
A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia struck off Flores Island, triggering building collapses, landslides and widespread destruction.
Further it is worth mentioning that, a tsunami warning was issued and later lifted as rescue teams rushed to affected areas. At least five people have been reported to have died, the toll expected to rise as search operations continue.
