An earthquake in Colombia has killed more than hundred people and has injured several people. The official death toll is yet to be known.
Reports say that, the epicenter was near San Jose del Palmar in Choco department, at a depth of around 96 km.
According to reports, the powerful quake in Colombia measured as much as 7.4 in magnitude on the Richter scale. The earthquake has reportedly left hundreds dead and thousands injured, with multiple buildings collapses.
The viral visuals from the country are all over X. They show collapsed buildings in Colombia after the region was rocked by a powerful earthquake. The earthquake has destroyed hundreds of historic buildings and it is believed that many are still trapped under the debris.
UPDATE:
The death toll from the devastating earthquake in Colombia is said to be 132 (it is expected to rise further), with another 570 people injured. As many as 188 people are missing in Cali, officials said after a strong earthquake struck the country.
