Faith can move mountains is an age-old phrase. And this is what happened in the Khade Hanuman temple Ujjain. An attempt was made to relocate the approximately 170-year-old Khade Hanuman temple Ujjain for road widening.
The upper portion of the temple was removed. But despite several efforts, Lord Hanuman’s idol didn’t budge even an inch from its place.
Machines stopped and the cranes could not move it. But the 170-year-old Hanuman idol in Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh remained firmly in its place. Attempts to shift the sacred idol for road widening did not succeed.
Now, the site has been handed over to IIT Indore experts for a foundation scan while preparing a nearby relocation site for scanning and further study. Crowd of devotees swelled to over 10,000 in a day, echoing chants like ‘Ujjain ke Hanuman Ji nahi hilenge.’
The administration had to halt its decision in the face of the devotees’ unwavering faith. The administration will decide the next course of action based on the findings.
The idol has remained immovable for five days, whether this is some engineering wonder or a miracle is something that none can say. But what is strange is that, every time an attempt is made something or the other goes wrong.
However, we do not promote any blind beliefs. But to the locals, this appears to be nothing short of a miracle performed by Lord Hanuman.
After destroying hundreds of temples and vigrahas in the name of “Corridors” in Kashi and Ujjain the BJP’s Ujjain admin pulled down the Khade Hanuman temple for Simhastha road work and kept digging at the Hanuman Ji’s vigraha.
The vigraha didn’t move. Officials are now saying… pic.twitter.com/E685aTqOtd
