In the case of the cargo ship sinks near Paradip port there has been a major development. Two Chinese language translators have arrived in Paradip from Kolkata.

The Mandarin interpreters arrived in Paradip to facilitate  interrogation of the two Chinese crew members who were rescued from the wreck.

The incident of the cargo ship sinks near Paradip port took place on August 22. The ship ‘MV Ocean Winner’ suddenly sunk in the Bay of Bengal around 240 nautical miles of the coast off Paradip in Odisha.

Reports say that there were 24 crew members onboard the ill-fated ship. However, two members were rescued on the day of the wreck but all other are still missing. The ship was en route from Paradip to Singapore when it ran into rough waters in north Bay of Bengal.

It is worth mentioning that, two Chinese ships joined the Coast Guards in search operation with INS Varad, ICGS Anmol and INS Vijit.
