The Ravenshaw University Teachers’ Association (RUTA) has decided to go on mass leave from Friday, said reliable reports.
The mass leave will be taken due to various issues the RUTA said.
It is worth mentioning here that the RUTA has as many as 80 members.
As a mark of protest, the members of the Ravenshaw University Teachers’ Association will wear black bands and will not perform their duties. The decision in this regard was taken by the association in a meeting on Thursday. Reportedly, there has been a split in the teachers association due to an ongoing dispute in the University.
According to reports, a new association called the Ravenshaw Vishwa Vidyalaya Shikshak Parishad (RVSP) has been formed. They say that the split was due to various ideological differences.
