In an accident in Bhadrak district of Odisha on Wednesday, as many as three people have been critically injured. Reports say that the ambulance was enroute to Puri Swargadwar for cremation of a body when the accident in Bhadrak took place.
According to reports, the accident took place near Palada Bank in Bhandaripokhari area of Bhadrak district. The ambulance with the body was enroute to Puri Swargadwar from Soro.
Eyewitness say that, all of a sudden the vehicle lost balance and veered off the road. The three people who were sitting along with the body have sustained serious injuries.
The locals reportedly rescued them and admitted them to a hospital nearby. The body was recovered and sent via another ambulance.
The reason behind the accident in Bhadrak is however still unclear. The local police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
