There has been an accident in Balasore district of Odisha. A pickup truck carrying them overturned on the road. According to reports on of them has died and as many as 15 have been injured.
The accident occurred at Talboniya Chowk on State Highway No. 57 under Balasore district. The seriously injured workers have been rescued by the locals and admitted to Hospital. The driver of the vehicle fled after the accident. The Jaleswar police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
The incident took place when more than 50 workers were returning home after completing their daily work in the vehicle. The vehicle suddenly lost its balance due to being overloaded and overturned on the roadside.
After the accident in Balasore, the locals immediately started rescue operations after hearing screams at the scene. Everyone has been sent to Jaleswar Hospital in an ambulance along with the help of the locals.
After the accident, the driver fled a the post, the police have seized the pickup vehicle and brought it to the police station for further investigation.
