The has been an unfortunate incident of electrocution at police station in Puri in which two youths have died. Reports say, the youths died after coming into contact with a live electric wire while working on TV cable lines in the police station premises.
According to reports, the incident took place on late Sunday afternoon. The deceased youths were resident of Puri. It has been learned that the two youths are from Rammandir Jali Sahi and Mangala Sahi.
Reports say that electrocution at police station in Puri occurred when the two youths were working on TV cables at the police station.
Puri SP Prateek Singh, IIC of various police stations, City DSP have reached the Puri District Headquarter Hospital (DHH). There was tension in Hospital as people were shocked to hear of such an incident and the families demanded compensation.
The two deceased youths came in contact with the 11 KV power line after repairing the cable wire and both of them died on the spot. They were taken to the DHH in a police PCR. Two cases of death have been registered at the police station in this regard. The family members protested in front of the DHH autopsy room for justice.
