DAV Recruitment notification 2026: The DAVCMC (DAV College Managing Committee) has released the DAV Recruitment 2026-27 notification for teaching posts and non-teaching staff across DAV schools in India.
Applications are open from September 16 to October 18. Check the eligibility, the application fees, age, the CBT exam pattern and selection process. It is worth mentioning here that the exact number of posts has not been specified. It will later be clarified by the schools.
Posts and Important Dates
DAV Recruitment notification 2026 has advertised for a number of posts for teaching staff namely PGT, TGT, PRT, Nursery/ Pre-Primary Teacher, Counsellor/ Wellness Teacher.
In Non-Teaching Staff the posts are LDC, UDC, Assistant, Receptionist, Library Assistant, Lab Assistant, Nurse, etc.

Document Verification — September 2, 2026 to October 16, 2026

DAV CBT Exam Date — December 2026
Post-wise Qualification
PRT (Primary Teacher) requires Graduation with B.Ed. or equivalent, as per subject requirement
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) requires Graduation with B.Ed. in the relevant subject
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) requires Postgraduate degree with B.Ed. in the relevant subject
Nursery/ Pre-Primary Teacher requires Graduation with Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or equivalent; female candidates only
Lab Assistant (Chemistry/Physics/Biology) requires B.Sc. in the relevant subject
LDC/UDC/Assistant has to be a Graduate, preferably in commerce for accounts-related posts
Library Assistant has to be a Graduate with a diploma in library and Information Science, where specified
Nurse has to have a B.Sc. Nursing or GNM certificate
How to Apply and application fees for DAV Recruitment notification 2026
Candidates can fill out the DAV CBT 2027-28 registration form directly through the link provided on the official website.
The application fees is Rs. 300 and the payment should be made online.
Further Details
The candidate has to apply and register online for the CBT. Then after document verification the fee payment needs to be completed.
Later, the candidate needs to appear for the Computer-Based Test conducted by the CBT Coordination Team, DAVCMC.
On qualifying, a demo class and interview will be conducted by the individual school Selection Committee.
