Rescue operation in Nepal

The rescue operation in Nepal has been temporarily suspended due to incessant rainfall in the affected areas. Reports say that the visibility in the area is almost zero making it tough for helicopters to takeoff.

According to reports, heavy rainfall worsened the weather conditions in Trishuli. The rescue operation in Nepal was suspended as torrential rain continued preventing helicopters from taking off.

Reports further added that, the river level is continuing to rise and that people in surrounding areas have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Nepal flash flood death toll has risen to 579, as per Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. NDRRMA on Friday conformed the number of deaths via and official release.

The ugly and scary face of nature was seen in the Nepal flash flood that occurred on August 26. The videos of the incident seem straight out of movies. Within moments people went missing, houses were inundated and bridges were swept away.

The incident was nothing less than a catastrophe. Hundreds of people are said to be missing. People from various parts of the world are being searched for from the deluge.
