There has been a tragic road accident in Sundargarh district of Odisha in which three people have succumbed. The incident has taken place under Talasara Police station limits.
According to reports a speeding SUV rammed into the bike and the bike fell into an open drain on the side of the road. A man, his father and a minor who was a relative were on the bike. All three of them died in the accident.
The accident occurred in the wee hours in front of the petrol pump in Talasara Police station jurisdiction. The deceased were residents of the nearby village called Kukidihi. All three of them succumbed in the accident in Sundargarh.
The SUV crashed into a vehicle while it was turning into the petrol pump to get fuel. The impact was so strong that the bike flew and fell into an open darin besides the road. All three on the bike were flung into the drain.
Locals noticed the accident and rushed to help, but it was too late. All three of them were in a critical condition. By the time they were rescued and sent to the hospital they had succumbed.
The doctors at the hospital declared them brought dead. The Talasara police have registered a case in the incident and seized the vehicle. A search is underway for the speeding SUV.
A pall of gloom has descended on the family and the village following this tragic accident in which three people breathed their last.
