There has been a road accident in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha in which a school teacher has died. According to reports, the teacher was crushed to death by a speeding truck.
Reports say that, the tragic road accident in Jagatsinghpur occurred near Barti Square on the Cuttack-Paradip road. A truck reportedly rammed against the bike rider. The deceased was a resident of Erdanga Panchayat. He was the Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) of the Siddhaswari Cluster.
The deceased was also working as a teacher in a primary school in the village. According to reports, while returning home from Cuttack on a bike, he lost his balance near the speed breaker near Barti Chack and fell on the road that is the highway near Paradip. As a result, a truck wheel ran over him and he died on the spot.
It is further worth mentioning that another person who was on the bike with him is undergoing treatment at the Raghunathpur Hospital and is in a serious condition. This incident has cast a shadow of grief in the local area. An investigation has been initiated in this regard. Further detailed reports awaited.
