A rescued Orangutan at Nandankanan has fallen ill. It has developed a fever. Reports confirmed that, one of the rescued Orangutan is suffering from a fever.
This has led the medical team to go on alert. A special team is closely monitoring the sick orangutan’s health. Specialized treatment is underway at the zoo.
These five orangutans have been housed at Nandankanan since their rescue from Bhograi block of Balasore district in Odisha.
