Queue based darshan in Jagannath Temple

In a major development, queue based darshan in Jagannath Temple will be introduced within three to four months. The Odisha Law Minister confirmed the news on Monday.

According to reports, a pilot project with regards to the queue-based darshan in Jagannath Temple or the dhadi darshan will be started in eight to ten days.

The Law Minister informed that once the new system of darshan is introduced, as many as 50 devotees will be able to have a  darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings simultaneously through five ramps.

So when roughly calculated around 8,000 devotees will be able to have darshan of the divine trinity in an hour.
