PNB recruitment 2026: If you want to work in a bank then here is your chance to be an employee of PNB (Punjab National Bank). The bank under PNB recruitment 2026 has advertised for as many as 545 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts. The last date is on August 9, 2026 so apply online at the earliest.
Place Of Posting
The recruitment drive is being conducted for vacancies across 17 states namely Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Eligibility, Salary And Age For PNB Recruitment 2026
Educational qualification required is a graduation degree with at least one year of banking experience. Proficiency in the local language is a must. The selected candidates will be posted only in the state for which they apply.
Salary: The pay scale for the post ranges from Rs 48,480 to Rs 85,920.
Age: Candidates must be aged between 20 and 30 years of age as on July 01, 2026. Age relaxation will be available in accordance with Government of India rules.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment process will comprises of the following:
- an online written examination,
- document screening,
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT),
- personal interview,
- final merit list and document verification.
Total Marks: The online examination will carry 150 questions for 150 marks with a total duration of 180 minutes. A deduction of 0.25 marks will apply for every incorrect response.
Subjects For Exam: Exams will be on Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General, Economy and Banking Awareness.
Fees And How To Apply For PNB Recruitment 2026
Application fee: Rs 59 including GST, for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. General, OBC and EWS candidates are required to pay Rs 1,180, including GST.
Application Process: Candidates need to register online with a valid email ID and mobile number, complete the online application form, upload the required documents, photograph and signature, pay the prescribed fee online and submit the application.
A copy of the final submitted form should be downloaded and retained for future reference.
