The Odisha T 20 League CM Trophy 2026 has been inaugurated at Cuttack’s historic Barabati Stadium, said reliable reports in this regard.
Reports further said, following football, kho-kho, kabaddi, and volleyball, the inclusion of cricket in the ‘Chief Minister Trophy’ will provide a major platform for Odisha’s rural cricket talents to showcase their skills.
The CM on inauguration of Odisha T 20 League said, “Our government is continuously working to strengthen the state’s sports infrastructure. While also building modern stadiums in every block and high-tech sports complexes in clusters. Providing opportunities for Odisha’s young talents on global stages is our commitment.”
It is worth mentioning here that famous cricketer Suresh Raina reached Odisha to be a part of the series. The cricketer landed at the Biju Pattnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
Suresh Raina in Odisha at the Bhubaneswar airport looked dapper in a black linen shirt. The shirt was casually paired with a black trouser. He was seen wearing a cap and a pair of tinted glasses.
The cricketer was seen signing placards and autographs for fans and posing for selfies. Cricket fans in Odisha were really happy to see this cricketing sensation amongst them.
Further, the cricketer reached Odisha for the Odisha T20 League 2026 CM Trophy. It will be held from September 20 to 29.
Reportedly, former India cricketers Suresh Raina and Debashish Mohanty have been announced as the brand ambassadors. They are ambassadors of the Odisha T20 League 2026 – CM Trophy, which is scheduled to be held from September 20 to 29.
