Nepal flash flood death toll rises to 1,410, as per Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. NDRRMA on Thursday confirmed the number of deaths via an official release.
The NDRRMA further added that as many as 6,145 people are still missing.
The ugly and scary face of nature was seen in the Nepal flash flood that occurred on August 26. The videos of the incident seemed straight out of movies. Within moments people went missing, houses were inundated and bridges were swept away.
The incident was nothing less than a catastrophe. Hundreds of people are said to be missing. People from various parts of the world are being searched for from the deluge.
Official figures further say that as many as 6,145 people are still missing among them are more than 1000 foreign nationals. The rescue and restoration operation is still underway.
