BMC mayor on pet dogs has said that, if one wants to keep them one must exercise caution and prevent public inconvenience. The Mayor Sulochana Das has given this statement following the dog attack in Patiala.
According to reports, the Mayor has said that dog owners should exercise caution. They should make sure that their dog does not attack people or cause any public inconvenience.
She has urged dog owners to prevent any untoward incident. She has further said that strict action will be taken against any person whose dog causes public nuisance.
She has asked people with pets to keep the neighbourhood clean and not to make their dogs defecate in public. Public inconvenience should be avoided at all cost.
