A mega eviction drive in Bhubaneswar was held to clear the roads off the encroachments and to help in public movement. The illegal and makeshift structures on the road make it difficult for the public.
Makeshift shops eat up parking spaces in various areas hens causing inconvenience to the public. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has taken up the matter and held an eviction drive in Bhubaneswar.
Further BMC has shared an update on the official X handle in this regard. It has also shared a video with Google geo tagging. The video shows unauthorised structures are being removed Near Kalinga Nagar. BMC clears encroachments to ensure better regulation and accessibility. This also helps in the maintenance of public spaces.
