Jio Platforms IPO

Jio Platforms IPO is all set to open on October 21. The Company has promised special privileges for eligible RIL shareholders and employees. Reports say, Jio has announced the price band of the Initial Public Offer (IPO). At upper end of price band this will officially be India’s biggest ever IPO surpassing Hyundai.

The Jio Platforms IPO opens on October 21 and closes on October 23, 2026. The shares have been priced at Rs. 1,065 to Rs. 1,119.

The important points to consider in this IPO is that, Jio Platforms is raising fresh capital instead of letting existing investors cash out through an Offer for Sale (OFS). There is a separate Rs. 2,500 crore reservation for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders, giving them a direct route to apply for Jio shares.

The official X post read, “Jio Platforms Limited IPO. Price band – ₹1,065 to ₹1,119. Bid/Issue opens on 21st Oct 2026; closes on 23rd Oct 2026. For risk factors and more details, refer to the red herring prospectus dated Oct 14, 2026.”

At an event announcing the IPO, Akash Ambani clearly talked about the vision of Jio. The Company has grown from building future ready digital infrastructure to exploring 6G. The future goal is clear that is to make India’s digital future accessible to every Indian.
