So, what had happened, why did the injured leopard attack the forest official so aggressively. Okay lets read to know. It has been reported that a leopard had strayed into the city in search of food. as it was crossing the road, an unidentified vehicle hit it and it was injured.
This entire incident of leopard attacks forest official went viral. The matter was narrated to the Forest Department Officials. They immediately formed a team to catch the big cat and rushed to the spot. As they arrived they saw this majestic creature writhing in pain. It was unable to walk as a vehicle had rammed against it. They thought that the animal needs immediate rescue and medical help.
But as the team went close to it, the leopard attacks forest official suddenly. It pounced on one of the forest officials during a rescue operation near Anagodu in Karnataka. The official however was lucky as he escaped with injuries.
However, later the leopard was safely tranquilized and taken for treatment to the care center nearby. It would not be wrong to say that wildlife rescuers risk their lives almost every time to save animals.
