An elephant has created panic among locals in Rasgobindpur area of Mayurbhanj district by entering farmland and damaging crops and property at night.

According to locals, the elephant keeps roaming near agricultural fields at night and destroys crops on regular basis. In a recent incident, it reportedly pulled and damaged a tractor, leaving villagers alarmed.

Meanwhile, a bizarre incident involving the elephant has also come to light in Baushuli village under Amarapada Panchayat. The elephant suddenly entered a field where children were playing football. Frightened by its entrance, the children left the field immediately.

After something interesting was seen. The elephant began pushing and tossing the ball with its trunk. It continued to play there for several minutes, creating the unusual scene of an elephant playing football.

The unexpected scene left locals amazed and someone present there recorded the incident on a mobile phone, after which it went viral.

While the unusual behavior of the elephant amused onlookers, its repeated entry into farmland and the damage caused to crops and property have raised serious concerns among villagers.
