There has been a group clash in Jajpur town of Odisha. The incident has been reported from Panikoili police station. Reports say that, Viruhan and Shagadi villages clashed between each other.
According to latest reports, in the group clash in Jajpur as many as nine people have been arrested. Police conducted a flag march in both villages.
According to information available, two days ago while a person was washing his face the water splashed on another person. After this an argument ensued between the two regarding this incident, a fight broke out between the two people.
As a result, one person was injured. Later, a group clash in Jajpur broke out between the two villages, Viruhan and Shagadi. Keeping the chaos in view, six platoons of police force have been deployed on the instructions of Jajpur SP.
Meanwhile, keeping in view the he incident, the district administration has imposed Section 163 in the entire area. Along with this, several people from both the villages involved in the incident have been arrested.
Meanwhile, the district police have conducted a flag march in both Viruhan and Shagadi villages to maintain peace and order. Along with this, the people have been warned not to take the law into their own hands.
