In a tragic incident, following an accident a minor boy was badly injured and the police created a Green corridor in Puri in an attempt to save the boy.
In what might sound like an incident straight out of a movie scene, a minor boy was going to school when tragedy struck. The boy fell down from his cycle on the road and the handle of the cycle pierced his abdomen. The incident and the accident was so scary that it has been reported that the intestines of the boy were hanging out.
The locals immediately rushed the boy to the hospital where after the treatment doctors advised them to shift him to MKCG Hospital in Berhampur of Ganjam district. The SDPO and the Puri (Krushnaprasad) police was informed. They immediately decided to create a medical green corridor in Puri and transport the boy to Berhampur MKCG.
(N.B: It is worth mentioning here that, the Green Corridor helps in facilitating hassle-free transportation of the patient. It is generally a special route that is cleared of the traffic for some time to help patients to travel to a destination in a very short time.)
This is a developing story however till the filing of the report, the boy was said to be in a stable condition. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
