Two earthquakes in Ladakh and Leh in a short span of an hour shocks local residents. An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 struck Leh and Ladakh early on Thursday morning.
The tremor occurred at 6:05 am at a depth of 10 kilometres, with its epicentre located at 36.881 degrees north latitude and 74.402 degrees east longitude, the NCS said.

Another one of the earthquakes in Ladakh occurred at 9:54 am at a depth of 10 kilometres, with its epicentre located at 36.881 degrees north latitude and 74.402 degrees east longitude, the NCS said.
