There have been two separate drowning deaths in Odisha, two brothers drown while bathing in Jajpur and one minor died in Joda.
The drowning deaths in Odisha took place in Jajpur and Keonjhar respectively. One of the incidents took place in Teli Arshala village under Jhumpura police station in Keonjhar district. Two minors of from the village went to bathe in the Aradi river.
After searching the spot, the Khumpura police along with the fire brigade rescued the body of the younger son and rescued the neighbor’s minor in a critical condition. But the elder son has not been found yet.
In another incident, a minor drowned in Brahmani, missing. Minor drowned in Brahmani river while bathing. The incident took place in the river near Barakana village, Dharmashala block, Jajpur district.
The missing minor is a resident of Barakana village. He drowned while bathing in a nearby river today. Locals tried to rescue him but were unable to find him. After receiving information, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and are continuing the search operation.
Both the incidents are developing incidents, further detailed reports awaited in both the cases.
