The latest cyclone Arnab update says that, the remnant of the very severe cyclonic storm has weakened into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It lies over Central parts of Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha
The Depression that is the remnant of Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Arnab over central Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha moved nearly northwards and weakened into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over central parts of Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha.
It is very likely to continue to move north-northeastwards, and weaken further into a low pressure area over Northeast Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood during next 24 hours.
In the last cyclone Arnab update regarding the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, or the remnant of Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Arnab over central Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha.
However, the regular bulletins and messages will be issued from National Weather Forecasting Centre and other respective regional Meteorological Centres Meteorological Centres of India Meteorological Department to provide the weather update in association with the Low pressure system.
Low Pressure Area over Andaman Sea and neighbourhood
There has been a Low Pressure Area over south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood. More rain is expected under the influence of this weather system.
The Low Pressure Area over south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood persisted over the same region at 1730 hrs IST of today, the 29th October 2026.
It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a depression over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Andaman Sea around 31st October.
Thereafter, it is likely to intensify further and continue to move west-northwestwards towards Andhra Pradesh coast during subsequent 2 days.
