There has been a crack in sluice gate in Jaleswar due to which floodwaters are gushing into the village. The incident has been reported from Jaleswar in Balasore district of Odisha.
According to reliable reports, a massive crack in sluice gate in Jaleswar at the Ausa Dam in Bhogarai block has been detected. Due to this crack, floodwaters are entering into the village. The locals are in a state of panic, reports further added.
The crack has taken place due to the force of water of the Subharnarekha river. The river is in full spate due to incessant low pressure induced rainfall.
It is worth mentioning here that, if the sluice gate gives way completely then as many as six panchayats in Bhogarai block will be flooded completely.
