There has been a bus accident in Tangi on Wednesday. A pilgrim bus met with an accident while returning after visiting a temple. According to reports, as many as five passengers were injured.
The pilgrim bus lost control and hit a roadside divider near the Tangi-Chandpur bypass on National Highway No. 16. The accident occurred at the wee hours. All the passengers are known to be from Badamba area. More than 30 passengers in the bus are safe.
On the other hand, the Tangi fire brigade immediately reached the spot after receiving the information. The fire brigade personnel rescued the injured and admitted them to the Chandpur Basant Manjari Hospital.
The injured have been discharged after treatment. The name of the bus that met with the accident is known as Harapriya Bus. The passengers were returning after visiting the shrine when the accident occurred. After receiving the information, the Chandpur police are investigating into the bus accident in Tangi.
