There has been a bus accident in Sambalpur district of Odisha in which 10 are critical and 30 injured as truck rams into passenger bus.
According to reports, the bus accident in Sambalpur occurred near Rengali. In the accident, as many as 10 people were critically injured and more than 30 received minor injuries. It has been reported that a trailer truck rammed into the passenger bus causing the accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
A bus of a Company was carrying employees last night. A trailer truck moving in front of the bus suddenly braked. As a result, the bus hit the rear of the trailer truck. Some employees inside the bus were crushed, say reports.
Fire and police personnel reached the spot and rescued the injured and admitted them to the hospital. The condition of the bus driver is said to be critical.
Another Truck Bus Accident In Sambalpur
Last month a road accident in Sambalpur had led to the critical injury of the two drivers. The accident had taken place on the Dalakhman Bridge near Redhakhol town in Sambalpur district of Odisha.
Reports say a trailer truck and a truck collided head-on. The drivers of both vehicles are in critical condition. Reportedly, a coal-laden truck from Sambalpur was going to Angul when it collided head-on with a trailer truck loaded with iron.
The drivers of both vehicles are in critical condition. They had been shifted to Burla Medical College.
Due to the accident, traffic snarl was seen on both sides of the road, vehicles are stuck. Passengers and other motorists have been stuck for hours together.
Police have reached the spot and started an investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident. Efforts were taken to remove the crashed vehicles from the road and normalize traffic at the earliest.
