In an accident in Pipili block of Puri district in Odisha, a man and a bull have been crushed to death by a speeding Thar.
According to reports, the accident took place on the wee hours of Wednesday. A speeding car reportedly lost control and crushed a man and a bull to death. Both the man and the animal died on the spot.
Reports say, that the man was plucking flowers when the vehicle came and crushed him to death. The car was reportedly enroute from Puri to Bhubaneswar. However following the accident in Pipili, the driver managed abandon the Thar and escaped.
The Pipili police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. The Thar has been seized and a search has been launched for the driver. Further detailed reports awaited. The reason for the accident is however yet to be ascertained.
