An earthquake in Maharashtra of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale occurred in Nashik.
The X post of the National Center for Seismology on the earthquake in Maharashtra read as follows, “EQ of M: 3.4, On: 14/08/2026 05:32:39 IST, Lat: 20.461 N, Long: 73.748 E, Depth: 3 Km, Location: Nashik, Maharashtra.”

On the other hand, tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh also. The quake measured magnitude 3 on the Richter scale.

It is worth mentioning that there were two consecutive earthquakes in Leh and Ladakh yesterday that is on August 13.
