Severe waterlogging in Bhubaneswar due to the heavy downpour overnight has caused several issues. Many low-lying areas in the capital city of Odisha saw waterlogging. Residents of these areas have been hassled to no end.
To add to the severe waterlogging in Bhubaneswar, the local MeT department has issued fresh rainfall warning. Various areas of the temple city saw knee deep waters. The residents of the Tarini Basti and Jagannath Basti areas had several issues as water flowed right into their houses.
The waterlogging has also caused traffic snarls at various points in the city as it is a working day. It is worth mentioning here that, Bhubaneswar experienced continuous heavy rains, lightning and thunderstorm all night long.
On the other hand to add to the woes, the MeT has issued a fresh rainfall warning to the city and 13 other districts. The districts include Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Ganjam, Koraput, Nayagarh, Jajpur, Cuttack, Kalahandi, and Kendrapara
