In a tragic incident, a generator catches fire during Ganesh idol visarjan and five children have been critically injured. The incident took place in Purushottampur in Ganjam district of Odisha.
The incident reportedly took place when a petrol-can kept near a generator caught fire during the Ganesh idol visarjan. The five children were standing close to the generator and were burnt critically as the fire was strong and sudden.
The locals immediately rushed the children who were burnt as the generator catches fire during Ganesh idol visarjan to the hospital in Purushottampur.
Later however, all of them were shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital so that they could be given better treatment. This is a developing story, further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
