In a strange incident, as many as five Orangutans spotted in Balasore district of Odisha on Tuesday. According to reports, the Orangutans were seen by the locals in Bhograi Block of Balasore district. They were seen in the Bichitrapur forest
Reports further say that, huge crowds of people gathered in the forest to see the rare species of animals. The major question that everyone was asking is how these rare and exotic creatures entered this jungle in a remote rural area.
The locals immediately informed the Forest department in this regard. The Orangutans spotted in Balasore was a very rare phenomena. The forest workers reached the spot and rescued them. They have been taken for health check-up.
However it is worth mentioning here that the Forest department has not clarified the next that will be taken in this regard. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
It is worth mentioning here that, Orangutans are great apes native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia. Orangutans are the largest arboreal mammals, spending most of their time in trees. They have long, powerful arms and grasping hands.
