Puri Jagannath temple Ratna Bhandar

Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar counting and inventory is underway. This process will be completed by today that is September 1.

As per the State Government’s approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the census of gems, jewellery and other items stored in the Ratna Bhandar is being counted.

This is being done under strict security for two days on August 31, 2026 and September 01, 2026. During this period, the rituals of Jagannath Mahaprabhu will continue and arrangements have also been made for the darshan of devotees and devotees.

For the safety of the census process or the Ratna Bhandar counting, darshan facilities will be available for devotees only near the outer perimeter of the Jagannath temple. This arrangement has been adopted keeping in mind that the inner darshan will be closed on the said census days.

However, darshan will continue for the public and devotees from the outer perimeter so that there will be no adverse impact on the rituals of Mahaprabhu. Therefore, the sevayats, devotees and public are requested to cooperate with the temple authorities.
