All schools in Bargarh closed as IMD (India Meteorological Department) IMD issues red warning for rainfall. The warning has been issued for 31.08.2026 (Monday).
The official notice read, “Keeping in view to the prediction of heavy to very heavy rainfall and the red warning issued for Baragada District by the India Meteorology Department, it is hereby declared that, all schools under the district shall remain closed on date 31.08.2026 (Monday).”
Therefore to avoid any untoward situation and keeping the safety of the children in mind the closure of all the Anganwadi Centers, All Govt. Schools, Aided and Private Schools of Bargarh District has been declared.
However, the Head Masters/ Mistress, Teachers and Anganwadi Workers and other staffs shall remain present in their respective institutions as usual.
