Bus overturns in Jajpur district of Odisha, more than 30 passengers injured in the accident, said reliable reports. The accident took place near Kadei square on National Highway Number 16 in Jajpur district.
According to reports, a private bus called Yashoda was enroute from Bhubaneswar to Balasore. However near Chhatia, the bus suddenly lost control and overturned.
Reports further said that, there were more than 50 passengers in the bus. After the bus overturned in Jajpur, the locals rushed to the rescue of the passengers.
The Badachana police reached the spot and admitted the injured to Badachana Medical College in an ambulance and another vehicle. It was been further reported that many of the passengers were seriously injured.
After the accident, there was traffic jam on the National Highway and traffic was disrupted for some time. Later, the Badachana police removed the accident vehicle from the road. The police has initiated a probe into the matter. Further detailed reports awaited.
