Fresh flood alert in Nepal

Fresh flood alert in Nepal has been issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority on Sunday, said reliable reports.

The NDRRMA said that, the flow of the flood water in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa has reportedly increased further. Therefore, all personnel engaged in search, rescue, and relief operations in affected areas should be catious.

The areas include Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, and surrounding regions, as well as those in riparian zones. The parties involved and other relevant parties, are requested to exercise utmost caution.

Further the fresh flood alert in Nepal added, another caution was issued by the District Administration Office, Rasuwa. The office received information that there is  increased flood water flow in the Bhote Koshi River.

Therefore, the people have been requested that caution should be exercised in the areas around the river up to Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading. Further updates and additional information shall soon be provided.

According to reports, Nepal flood death toll has risen to 669, as per Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. NDRRMA on Saturday confirmed the number of deaths via an official release.

As per the Nepal Tourism Department, 183 Indian tourists are still missing in the Nepal flash floods, and a total of 753 tourists from across the world are missing.
