The Odisha government on Thursday accepted the resignation of Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena. Meena, a 2013‑batch IPS had submitted his resignation a month ago.
He had addressed the press upon his resignation and said that he was resigning for personal reasons. However Jagmohan Meena’s resignation accepted by Odisha government on Thursday.
The state government has formally accepted the resignation that had been submitted by the senior IPS officer.
Further the acceptance has been forwarded to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for further deliberation. It is worth mentioning here that Meena had held a number of important posts during his tenure across various districts of Odisha.
