18 important Cabinet proposals passed by Odisha Government. The 47th meeting of the State Cabinet was held today at the Lok Seva Bhawan. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
In this meeting, a total of 18 proposals from 12 departments were discussed and approved for the development and welfare of the state.
Cabinet proposals passed by Odisha Government are as follows:
Promulgation of ‘Shri Jagannath Temple Land Management Rules, 2026’ for the clean management, digital management and settlement of Shri Jagannath Temple land.
Reorganization of Odisha Agriculture Service Cadre, Odisha Soil Conservation Service Cadre.
Reorganization of Horticulture Service Cadre and increase in the total number of posts from 403 to 470.
Approval of ‘Odisha Jan Vishwas Bill, 2026’ with amendments to 16 laws. Amendment of Pension Rules, 1992.
Odisha Civil Service Rules, 2026 for recruitment, promotion and service conditions of civil servants of District Industrial Centre (DIC) enacted.
‘BOITA’ scheme sanctioned for conservation of historical irrigation projects and development of tourism facilities.
Scheme for installation of 1.5 lakh deep tube wells in 5 years to create irrigation capacity of 7.5 lakh hectares in 256 blocks of 26 districts.
BASUDHA (Buxi Jagabandhu Assured Drinking Water to all Habitations) scheme revised for the period 2026-27 to 2028-29 to provide safe drinking water to deprived rural settlements.
Widening and improvement of Komtalpeta-Muniguda-Tumudibandh (SH-5), Bhawanipatna-Muniguda (SH-6) and Rayagada-Kereda (MDR-48B) roads (total 4 projects).
‘Panchasakha Shikshan Setu Yojana’ approved for the period from 20 December 2024 to 31 March 2029 (2024-25 to 2028-29).
Preparation of ‘Odisha Uniformed Services Personnel Selection Commission (Amendment) Rules, 2026’ approved for conducting the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) in Uniformed Services.
Strengthening and modernizing the entire power transmission infrastructure with the installation of 765 KV network for the first time in the state.
ଆଜି ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନରେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟର ୪୭ ତମ ବୈଠକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ବୈଠକରେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିକାଶ ତଥା ଜନକଲ୍ୟାଣ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ୧୨ଟି ବିଭାଗର ମୋଟ ୧୮ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରାଯାଇ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି।
