There has been a major fire in factory in Bhubaneswar the Capital city of Odisha on Monday. Reports said that, the massive fire was witnessed in a cotton and garment manufacturing factory in Patrapada area of the State Capital.
According to reports, the fire in factory in Bhubaneswar stated in the morning hours. The fire department was then informed by way of a call. Reports said that the intensity of the fire was very high.
It is noteworthy that, the Fire fighting teams from Jatani and Tomando area in Bhubaneswar had to be pressed into action to douse the flames. Since the factory was manufacturing cotton and garments the fire spread rapidly in a very short while.
Fire Officer Narayana Dash told ANI, “The fire has been brought under control, and there are no casualties. At 8.40 am, we received a message of a fire in a cotton godown.” The Officer further added, “The intensity of the fire was high. Teams from Jatani and Tamando fire stations were called.”
Till the time of filing of the report, the reason behind or the cause the fire was yet to be ascertained. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
