A massive fire in Bhubaneswar was reported from Bhimtangi area. The fire broke out when reportedly the occupants of the house were away.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the three-storey house in Bhimtangi area in lane number 5 under Airfield police station. Reports say that, the neighbours saw smoke and flames bellowing out of the house.
They immediately informed the fire department. On receiving the information about the fire in Bhubaneswar, the fire brigade team reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. After some effort, the fire personnel brought the fire under control. However, many valuables of the house were burnt and destroyed in the fire.
It is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. However, the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be clear after the investigation.
Fortunately, there was no major human loss as no one was home at the time of the incident. Further details awaited in this regard.
