In a shocking incident, there has been a major loot in Bhadrak district of Odisha, said reliable reports on Tuesday. The miscreants were armed and looted huge amount of cash, gold and silver. The loot in Bhadrak was carried out in a style inspired from movies.
According to reports, the loot took place at gunpoint in Judagadia village under Jagdalpur panchayat limits in Bhadrak block of Bhadrak distarict in Odisha. It has been reported that in a film inspired manner the armed dacoits barged into the house and locked the residents of the house in a room and then carried out the loot.
It is worth mentioning that the armed men looted huge amount of gold, silver and cash from the house. However the real twist to the plot came when they were trying to escape, one of them was overpowered by the villagers, beaten up and then handed over to the Bhadrak local police. The style of the loot in Bhadrak has surprized the locals.
The police on the other hand have initiated a detailed investigation into the matter. The exact amount of loot in terms of cash, gold and silver is yet to be ascertained. The dacoit who was overpowered is in custody and is being questioned for further clues. Further details awaited.
